during in the filmmaking process, the story is written three times: 1) at the hand of the writer/screenwriter, 2) through the vision of the director and finally, 3) through the creativity and skill of the Editor that puts it all together.

it takes a special breed to watch every single frame of footage, to know every shot from the major scenes down to the innocuous b-roll, to be able to change the mood of the scene so effectively by picking just one take containing the slightest twitch of an eyebrow.

but that is what i love to do. and i wouldn't have it any other way.
